Nest building

It's always a feat with Nate's food allergies around holidays. Especially Easter with all the egg love going on. So in lue of dying eggs, we made chocolate nests complete with malted eggs.


You melt the chocolate on a double boiler, or my version pirex bowl over pot of boiling H20. Mix with plain shredded wheat all crunched. Place on wax paper & shape into "nest" form. Press in candy eggs.


Yummy, egg free & decorative.
